Policy and Editorial

The Policy
The idea of guldalder.dk is to promote an understanding of Danish art and culture 1800-1850. The aim has thus been:

to establish a website providing a broad sweep of information on the period and its architecture, visual arts, ballet, theatre, music and literature;

via hyperlinks to ensure the availability of further information on the individual areas.
to draw attention to some of the permanent facilities primarily provided by cultural institutions in Copenhagen give to experience the period 1800-1850.

Guldalder.dk has been devised by Golden Days in Copenhagen with financial support from Kulturnet Danmark.
